The Problem With Most Marketing Today
Whether you're a local business or a nationwide brand, most companies are running marketing the same way they did five years ago. Each channel reporting its own numbers, nobody questioning whether they add up, and no clear picture of where leads are actually coming from. The result? Budget spent in the wrong places and growth left on the table.
First I work out which growth problem you actually have. Then I build the right system for it.
Most agencies sell the same playbook to every client. But there are really only two growth problems, and they need completely different answers:
If demand already exists — people are searching for what you do, and the job is to be there when they are — you need intent capture. Google Ads, Google Business Profile, landing pages that convert. Fast to stand up, mechanical to run well, and most of the win is in execution quality and measurement.
If demand doesn't exist yet — you've spotted a gap in the market but nobody's looking for it — you need demand creation. Lead generation pages that name the problem, content that builds the category, nurture that turns interest into enquiries. Slower to compound, but it creates a moat competitors can't copy.
Both run on the same underlying engine: the right channels, conversion that earns the click, and first-party measurement so we know what's working. What changes is which channels, which message, and how aggressively we create versus capture.
Most businesses need a bit of both. My job is to work out the mix — and run it.
How It
Works
A connected process that gets sharper over time — not a menu of services to pick from.
Run long enough, and your marketing becomes an asset that appreciates over time — not a cost that stays the same.
